D’Alessandro Léon’s paintings capture the subtle nuances of light through his use of an earthy palette and textures from deliberate brushstrokes. He is known for his tranquil landscapes that are enveloped in the haze of a misty morning. His contemporary approach to painting is influenced by early 20th century artists and is evident in much of his work. Like the Impressionists, his emphasis is on capturing the essence of a scene rather than the details. D’Alessandro Léon is a California-based artist. He attended the Art Institute of California where he explored mixing mediums such as digital, illustration, and sculpture.
